ARIA-eWMH (for Risk of Cognitive Health) is being offered in the “HSBC Life Eldercare Programme” announced by HSBC Life on 20 June 2019

The“Automatic Retinal Image Analysis – estimate white matter hyperintensities (ARIA-eWMH) – for Risk of Cognitive Health” is a dementia risk screening approach developed by the Division of Biostatistics, JC School of Public Health of CUHK, and licensed to Health View Bioanalytic Limited, a Hong Kong healthcare technology company. To raise awareness of eldercare and dementia, HSBC Life announced the launch of the “HSBC Life Eldercare Programme” together with the Hong Kong Lutheran Social Service (HKLSS) to provide cognitive health check services for dementia using ARIA-eWMH.Through this Programme, HSBC Life is the first insurer in Hong Kong to bring this innovative screening service to the local community, its customers and employees.
