Clinical Trials and Biostatistics Lab
CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute (SZRI)
The Centre for Clinical Research & Biostatistics (CCRB) has established a Clinical Trials and Biostatistics Lab in the CUHK Shenzhen Research Institute on 2012. The purpose of this Lab is to promote biostatistics research and clinical trials methodology suitable for the China Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology development. The CCRB aims to collaborate with Universities, Hospitals and Pharmaceutical Companies in China to enhance the research quality and integrity through state-of-the-art technology and methodology. Research, education and training such as Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Clinical Trials Design and Analysis, Pharmaceutical Statistics, and a unique focus of Biostatistics in Translational Medical Research will be carried out. High quality services include electronic randomization program, data and safety monitoring, bioinformatics, data management and multi-centre study design are available.
The Director of the Clinical Trials and Biostatistics Lab is Prof Benny Chung-Ying Zee, who is also Professor of Biostatistics in the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care and the Director of the Centre for Clinical Research and Biostatistics.
