Inclusion Criteria 1) Ischemic stroke within 7 months 2) Moderate to severe leukoaraiosis on MRI 3) Agreed to take medications 4) Provide written informed consent Exclusion Criteria 1) Hemorrhagic stroke 2) Auditory, visual or language impairment severe enough to prevent cognitive assessment 3) Pacemaker or other contraindication to MRI scanning 4) Pregnancy 5) Taking methotrexate 6) Taking vitamins on medical advice 7) Independent self-medication with vitamin supplements containing B6, B12 or folate
