Light-intensity walking at 3.2 km/h on a treadmill for 6 minutes every 60 minutes of sitting.

Chinese men aged between 18 and 34 years

With overweight/obesity (Body Mass Index is higher than 22.9 km/m^2)

Physically inactive (moderate-intensity physical activity is less than 150 minutes per week for the past 3 months)

Total time spent sitting is more than 5 hours per day

Fluent in English

Allergic to milk or gluten

With history of cardiovascular disease and/or diabetes

Fasting blood glucose is over than 7 mmol/L, and/or 2-hour postprandial glucose in the 75-g Oral glucose tolerance test is over than 199 mg/dL, and/or HbA1C is over than 6.4%

Smoker

With conditions that alter limit capability to walk on a treadmill

Taking any medications known to affect lipid or glucose metabolism

Not fluent in English
