CUHK Innovation and Entrepreneur Day, 23 September 2021

 CUHK Innovation Day was held at InnoPort and Yasumoto International Academic Park (YIA), with the theme “Innovation, Patents and Beyond”. Mr Alfred SIT Wing-hang, Secretary for Innovation and Technology of the HKSAR Government and Prof Alan CHAN Kam-Leung, Provost of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, officiate the kick-off ceremony. This first-ever event aimed to inspire multidisciplinary research and innovation to meet global challenges. The kick-off ceremony was held in the morning, followed by an exhibition and demonstration of research outcomes, talks and a panel discussion in YIA of CUHK campus in the afternoon. Topics included satellite and mobile sensing technologies, green energy and advanced material, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, and the application of brain and mind research. The ARIA technology was also shown in the booth area.
