Mr Lau obtained his MPhil and BSc in Statistics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has been a Biostatistician in the Centre for Clinical Research and Biostatistics (CCRB) since 2015. During the time working in CCRB, he has been involved in numerous academic and industry-related research projects, mainly responsible for programming, statistical analysis, and report writing. Mr Lau has ample experience in the analysis of hospitals performance data to monitor both quality and efficiency for hospitals under the Hong Kong Hospital Authority. He also has rich experience in providing statistical training for undergraduate and postgraduate students from various fields and backgrounds.
